Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented B2B Sales Support Specialist to support our growing national account sales business. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless execution between brand partners, retail customers, and internal teams including operations, finance, and marketing.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands retail and distribution processes, and demonstrates a proactive approach to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Retail Support


  • Support key retail accounts (e.g., national retailers, specialty beauty chains, grocery, etc.)

  • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and line review materials

  • Coordinate product launch timelines and ensure alignment with retailer requirements

  • Track retail performance metrics (sell-in, sell-through, inventory levels)

  • Monitor purchase orders, shipment schedules, and delivery confirmations


2. Data & Reporting


  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports by brand, retailer, and SKU

  • Analyze performance trends and provide actionable insights to sales leadership

  • Maintain CRM and customer records

  • Track promotional calendars, TPDs, markdown programs, and marketing initiatives


3. Cross-Functional Collaboration


  • Coordinate with brand partners regarding product updates, pricing, and packaging

  • Support the marketing team on in-store activation and promotional execution

  • Assist the finance team with accounts receivable follow-ups and deduction management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred

  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales support, wholesale, or retail operations

  • Experience working with major retailers (e.g., Costco, Ulta, Target) preferred

  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis required)

  • ERP or CRM experience preferred

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Experience (Beauty / CPG Industry)


  • Experience in beauty, cosmetics, or consumer goods distribution

  • Familiarity with retail programs (TPD, co-op, IMU, promotions, etc.)

  • Understanding of sell-in vs. sell-through metrics

  • Knowledge of inventory planning and deduction management

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary Range: $70,000 – $85,000

This position may also be eligible for performance-based bonus compensation.
Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
