Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven B2B Sales Account Manager to lead and expand key wholesale and national retail accounts across Canada and North America.
This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing retailer relationships, executing promotional strategies, and coordinating cross-functional operations. The ideal candidate has experience in distribution or CPG environments and understands large retail account dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

1. Account Management & Revenue Growth


  • Manage key Canadian and North American retail/wholesale accounts

  • Drive sell-in growth through new product launches and assortment expansion

  • Lead retailer meetings, line reviews, and seasonal planning

  • Identify opportunities for door expansion and promotional programs

  • Negotiate pricing and trade terms where applicable


2. Sales Planning & Forecasting


  • Develop annual sales plans by account and brand

  • Manage promotional calendars and demand forecasts

  • Monitor inventory health and replenishment trends

  • Align with Supply Chain to support execution


3. Performance & Analytics


  • Track sell-in, sell-through, and gross margin performance

  • Analyze POS and sales data to optimize growth strategies

  • Monitor trade spend ROI and promotional effectiveness

  • Prepare business performance reports for leadership


4. Cross-Functional Coordination


  • Partner with Marketing on retail activation and campaigns

  • Collaborate with Finance on AR and deduction management

  • Coordinate with Brand partners on launches and pricing updates

  • Ensure retailer compliance and operational excellence

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

  • 4–8 years of B2B sales or national account experience

  • Experience with major Canadian retailers (e.g., Costco Canada, Shoppers Drug Mart, London Drugs, Walmart Canada, etc.) preferred

  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills

  • Advanced Excel and analytical capability

  • Experience in Beauty, Skincare, or CPG preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple brands and accounts


Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary Range: CAD $95,000 – $120,000

This position may also be eligible for:

  • Performance-based bonus

  • Commission structure (if applicable)
